Traveling soon? You may want to start thinking about your luggage now. Picking out luggage is not difficult and there is much available to choose from. You will need to think about what you expect from your luggage and find something that will fit your needs.
Most people find Rolling luggage easier to handle. It causes less wear and tear on your body. Here are a few things to consider when looking:
1) Look for lightweight but sturdy. Remember that bags have to be under a certain weight when flying. You do not want to use half of that on the suitcase itself.
2) Be sure the wheels move easily and are anchored well. Wheels mounted from the inside of the bag make for a sturdier bag. Be sure that the wheels are made of a hard plastic.
3) The material of the suitcase should be tear resistant. You do not want to arrive at your destination to find your luggage and belongings are destroyed.
4) Check all zippers and be sure that they work properly before buying. Zippers with large, metal teeth are better and will last longer.
Remember that the airlines have a standard for the size of your bag. Most will not allow anything over 10×22, so when choosing a bag keep this in mind.
1) Again, something with wheels would be best.
2) Find something with many compartments to keep your bag organized.
3) Something with straps may be something to consider if you would like to carry it on your back.
